Discover the best restaurants in Malaga

The city of Malaga receives thousands of tourists every year, but on these dates and thanks to its decoration, many come to the Malaga capital to enjoy a great tourist offer designed for all types of audiences.

Within its extensive gastronomic offer, the people of Malaga like to go out for tapas and try different specialties. There is no free tapa with the drink, and the usual thing is that the tapas are small portions that can sometimes be shared, highlights the Russian salad, the pot croquettes, the white garlic, the aloreñas olives, the gazpachuelo, etc. To taste any of them and the most typical dishes in the center of Malaga, try to find a place at the bar or reserve a table.

Malaga is a coastal city where the products are totally fresh and where it presents more variety than in any other type of dish. They are varied, creative and fresh and above all very healthy when made with totally natural products. On the coast of Malaga you can enjoy Malaga fry dishes. You will also enjoy the tasty and varied fish fritters (fish floured and fried in plenty of olive oil, over high heat and for a very short time). Therefore, we can find a variety of fish and seafood cooked fried or boiled, such as the famous sardine skewers that are eaten on the beach.

Bar El Pimpi

El Pimpi is not just a winery, it is an entire institution. What we recommend is to try a sweet wine (€ 2.6 a glass) and ask for a portion to share, the dogfish is always a good idea (€ 11). Or if you prefer to snack something quick you can choose one of light, very tasty sandwiches. Our favorite is the Piripi that has pork loin, natural tomato, bacon, cheese and aioli (€ 3).

Palocortado in Malaga

In this interior kitchen they prepare veal sweetbreads, squid stuffed with pig trotters or battered lamb brains, with smoked herring roe and lamb's lettuce. Stews and roasts are another point and apart. We recommend their red tuna grill curry with almadraba tuna and the chili crab, which is no other harassment than a spider crab stuffed with its meat, stewed Asian style with a spicy touch.

The  Palocortado restaurant in Malaga , as we mentioned earlier, allows you to eat any of these suggestions –and the other dishes on your cookbook– both at the bar and at the table. The customer has the singing voice!
